Marissa Lico is a visual artist whose work celebrates the quiet beauty of everyday life. Rooted in nostalgia and drawn from the poetry of domestic rituals, her paintings capture fleeting moments - those small but meaningful pauses that often go unnoticed.

A lifelong creative, Marissa’s artistic practice was sparked in childhood and later refined through formal study in Visual Arts. Based in regional New South Wales, she works from her home studio where she brings together elements of still life, memory, and storytelling with warmth and intention.

Her work is an invitation to slow down and savour. From the simple act of preparing a meal to the familiar rhythm of a lived-in space, each piece reflects a gentle reverence for the ordinary and the deeply personal.

Through layered compositions, considered palettes, and a love for texture, Marissa creates art that feels both intimate and timeless. Her hope is that each painting not only tells a story, but also resonates with your own.
